A padlock shut on a small plate

Who can see our records, and how do I end it?

See everyone who can see your records, and end access for any of them in one action.

Who sees these records lists everyone outside the household, and outside its firm on a Business account, who can see its records today: each Secure link A link that opens one report or one request without a sign-in, until access ends. to a report or a request, and each webhook or API key a firm's tool receives reports through.

Anything ended or run out is gone from the list. Nothing else can see the records.

1. Where is it?

A person with a letter beside them: an email a person reads

On a Personal account it is in the sidebar, under Who sees these records. The line under the title says Held by you.

On a Business account each client has their own, in the sidebar inside the client and on the client's page. The line under the title says Held by everyone at your business, as everyone in the business can open the client. Your webhooks, and the API keys that receive reports, are on every client's page, as each reaches every client.

2. What does each row say?

A report on its way: a page lying on a plate and an envelope beside it

Who it is, and under it what they are, such as Accountant or Webhook for every client, and what they see: a report's documents, a request's sections, or what a webhook receives. Then how it was given, such as Sent 3 Nov 2026 or Added by Jane Carter.

A link that also shows your figures today says so, as in Accountant pack and Portfolio position, and your figures today. Ending that link ends both.

Access ends is the day the secure link ends. A webhook or an API key has no end date, so it says When ended.

3. How do I end access?

A road that stops at a bar, with an empty lot beyond it: a path that ends

Select the row. It opens that link on its own page, or the webhook or key on Integrations, where its one action is End access, or End request for a request. A dialog names who it is for before anything ends.

A report's secure link ends at once, and the report stays in Reports sent. A request's link ends too: a request still waiting closes with nothing applied, and a closed one keeps what was applied. A webhook receives every client's reports, packs and responses, so its access ends on Integrations for the whole business.

4. How does it know who someone is?

A key coming to a home's door

Edit client, or Edit portfolio on a Personal account, saves up to four other contacts, each with Who they are: Accountant, Tax agent, Broker, Buyers' agent, Selling agent or Other. A report or request can go only to a saved contact.

On a Business account the client's Email is the client. On a Personal account the Accountant's email is your accountant.
