For financial advisers with property clients

PropRetire's Business plan is for advice firms whose clients own rentals. It runs each client's records forward to the end of their retirement plan, once for each strategy, such as keeping everything or selling the rentals. It says which strategy's cash lasts longest, when any runs out and what each leaves. It shows the strategies side by side and recommends none. Each result opens to its working.

What does it do for an advice firm?

  • Retirement runs each strategy from 1 July of this financial year to the end of the retirement plan. Retirement and Super, cash, property: what you can reach, and when
  • Stress test raises rates or spending, or cuts income or rent, and names each legal owner whose cash runs out, with the date and how much more they would need. Stress test
  • SMSF records holds a fund's members, their balances, contributions and benefit payments, and the fund's costs, and sets each balance beside the fund's net position. SMSF records
  • Clients lists every client, one row each, with the client who needs you most at the top. Clients
  • A schedule sends a client the documents you choose on a cadence you set, such as each quarter, worked out from that day's records. Scheduled sends and The quarterly position an adviser sends
  • An information request sends a client a secure link to check the records you hold. For clients: the information request

PropRetire's results assume income, rent and spending grow 3% a year and super has a net return of 8%, until you change them. Planning assumptions, not a PropRetire forecast.

How do I check a figure?

Every result states its date and opens its working: the records, assumptions and arithmetic behind each figure. A result is an estimate from the records and the rules on its date. Check a result
